Hooters Burnsville, MN :12950 Aldrich Ave S: Burnsville, MN 55337 Phone: 952-890-9659 Fax: 952-890-5517 Let's start with my favorite place to hang in the south metro. I go there quite a bit, I will be honest the food is good but not top-notch but then with the name Hooters who is there for the food.
The Management is very personable Kevin, Clint and Fred are all very concerned about the customers well being they stop at the tables make you feel welcome. The waitresses are generally in a wonderful mood and talkative. I have been there a few times with there being an exception to that. Katie the fulltime bartender has a 10 on the personality scale, When she has the bar area is always packed! So if you go there and want to sit at the bar good luck if Katie is mixing drinks!

Another reason to go to Hooters is the Wednesday night costume night. Costume night packs that place every time, the ladies dress to a theme and have lots of fun. Guys it is a night to be there! Thursday night is WINGO night. WINGO is Bingo but being Hooters best menu item is the wings they call it WINGO. WINGO is free to play, Jessica and Angela have a great time calling WINGO. They come to every table in the house between games to give you your card and chat it up! Anyone can play and WIN! Except the Jackpot Game you need to be 18. The jackpot strarts at $200 and goes up $50 a week.

If you decide to go there for your birthday be ready to have a hoot. The girls have a little surprise for you, it literally gets you off the ground!
Recently they have started a free taco bar on Friday nights I am going to have to try it out. On my list and if the food where better it would be a 5 The food is a 3 the service is a 5+. As a whole the reason to be there is to look at the ladies and for that reason Hooters is 4.5 Stars out of 5.

Black Dawg Bar & Grille The Dawg! 3120 West Highway 13 Burnsville, MN 55337 Phone: 952-277-0197 I like this place, it is one of the coolest place to go South of the Minnesota river. Truly a Sports bar! Loads of T.V. to watch your favorite MN sports from High School to the Pros. When the high school state tournament are on they are on the T.V. at The Dawg. Same with most of the college games. For the Pros the same is true. There big teams is the Vikings. But you will find them Twins, Timberwolves and the wild on also. Black Dawg Bar & Grille has a “Vikings Fan Club” for $6.00 you get to eat from a buffet that has burgers, hotdogs, nachos, fries etc., other great drink and food special and prize give-a-ways each quarter. The Vikings Fan Club is a great time.

They also have all the games available from several pool tables, video games, darts and Saturday and Wednesday night Free Texas Hold'em tournaments. The first place prize is $50

Thursday-Saturday they do have bands playing and there is a cover charge that depends on the band. It is ussually $3.00

The service could be a little better. It really depends no who you get. I have had excellent service to so so service. If you can hook up with Britney, Jose or Michele you will be just fine.

Where The Dawg excels is with their food for a sports bar it is some of the best around! Now remember I said for a sports bar do not come in looking for Fine Dinning you will be disappointed but this is a Sports Bar. They have all you can eat BBQ ribs on Wednesday nights, a fish sandwich that is the biggest and best I have seen anyplace, (a MUST have if you are into fish sandwiches like I am) great pizza all in all top notch for sports bar type food. The Dawg even marks their menu with healthy foods so you can make healthy choices so everyone can eat. I give Black Dawg Bar & Grille a 3.5 for the service which I really hesitate to do because I have had a lot of good service there but the bad was bad! The food is the best! Overall 4.5 of 5 Stars.
